    • Thanks, Jessica! We liked the idea a lot and hunted around for mythology to play with. We settled on lamia myths, because there isn\’t a lot about male lamias (they\’re almost always female). That gave us a lot of room to create backstories and voila! We did have to do research, though; and yes, snakes can swim. 🙂

  1. LOL – cute excerpt but uggg! Snakes only rate second to spiders on my creep-out meter. Make him change back to a cute hunk please!!

  2. I\’m glad you did a paranormal shape shifter but a SNAKE uugghh I don\’t do SNAKES…Just ask my son after I slapped the crap out of him for letting walked into his friends house where he had his snake out lol but since I actually don\’t have to look or touch it I will probably survive.

    • Hi, Denise! Far enough. 🙂 We are an all animal family, so we\’ve had snakes, turtles, lizards, dogs, cats, ferrets, all sorts of things. 🙂

Don\’t worry, though; these snakes are long-lived and not scary. Unless you\’re a bad guy. 🙂

      Happy blogging!

    • Thanks, Jeanette! We had a lot of fun writing it and this particular scene makes me laugh every time. Glad you enjoyed, and thank you for stopping by! Enjoy the hop!

    • Thanks, Samantha! We\’re expecting a summer release, but don\’t have an exact date yet – so stay tuned. 🙂 The current title is BOUND BY FIRE, but that may change; we\’ll definitely keep readers informed on our blog and by Facebook. We are so excited to do this project; we have an awesome editor and this is one of our dream houses. 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment, and enjoy the rest of the hop! 🙂
