New World Order, Chapter 20: Cross-Cultural Interactions (Belinda) — 4 Comments

  1. I was linked here from A. Catherine Noon, so I\’m going to have to go back and read the previous chapters because this one was so good.

There was one sentence that I really loved: \”Belinda felt a chill walk up her back on cats\’ feet.\” That\’s such a beautiful, perfect description, excellent even.

What I also noticed is that you have a really good way of describing Jon and Belinda\’s relationship without being obvious about it. Like I said, I haven\’t read the other chapters yet, but the partnership between those two is very dynamic and palpable, and that makes reading this even more enjoyable.

I look forward to reading more!

  2. Welcome to some good reading, Marlena! It\’s wonderful to find your name in the comments here. And I agree that this is good storytelling! I also enjoyed taht particular line as well as the recurrent grumble from Belinda\’s partner. Hurray for more!

  3. Thank you, Marlena! I\’m so pleased that you enjoyed the chapter, particularly since you haven\’t yet read the earlier chapters. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!

Darla, thank you for your kind words. It really makes this a fun, interactive process!

  4. Yay! A new chapter! I definitely enjoyed the dynamic between Jon and Belinda here. I\’ll be curious to see how it holds up once they\’re back in Madison.

I like that the plot is really starting to build, too. I can\’t wait to see how Ashara and the Bast temple play in.

    More, please 🙂
